ULI BC is pleased to support the MOMC Connected Living Conference 2015
and the 13th Annual CCSA Chinese New Year Gala!
The Connected Living Conference brings together BC businesses with Chinese investors, and will showcase ten projects curated by Modern Green, provide a platform for exploring the Connected Living concept in real estate and digital technology, and facilitate networking between Chinese and BC businesses.
The 13th Annual CCSA Chinese New Year Gala is a longstanding tradition of bringing in the Chinese New Year with song and dance, and this year invites top basso cantante talent Hao Jiang Tian and well-known North American talents to perform in style for a China-Canada cultural extravaganza.
The Connected Living Conference 2015 is an unprecedented occasion, combining a traditional business conference format with a unique cross-cultural evening. The host organizations wish to build a stronger community through such dynamic events. We hope to foster an environment of opportunity and growth.
Connected Living is Modern’s Green vision for the future of real estate development in and between China and North America; it includes three important areas:
From green building to healthy lifestyles, and reducing our impact on the environment, the first aspect of connected living is improving our connection with nature. Humanity increasingly lives in urban areas, and so we must endeavor to find ways to do so that ensure good health for both environment and people alike.
As we face increasing environmental challenges, another important trend is aging population in both China and North America. This is another area where increased connection is vital, between generations, and within communities. Modern Green seeks to find ways to make diverse and connected communities that are able to care for all people.
While our environment and population are changing, so too technology is transforming the way we live and interact. The Connected Living Conference looks closely at how digital technology can be integrated into our daily lives in beneficial ways, and how such technology is rapidly transforming the way we live and do business, particularly in real estate development and urban lifestyles. We sincerely hope that you will be able to attend our conference, and participate in the building of connections between East and West, between generations, and between humanity and nature. Furthermore, after the Conference cocktail reception, there will be a separate Chinese New Year performance event, for which tickets are also available, and to which families are very welcome to attend.
