Postponed: ULI BC: AUTOPROP – Technology in real estate and land use analysis
Postponed to 2017!
Join ULI BC for its next instalment of its Professional Development Series where we will hear from Charlsy Dobell, Founder at AUTOPROP.
AUTOPROP started 3 years ago with this question: how long does it take to aggregate all the data required to start a thoughtful due-diligence on a given development site? To answer this question, they raced analysts from major developers against one another – the fastest, an ex-appraiser, took just over 2 hours to gather all the required date on one site!
The concept of AUTOPROP was born from this experiment – they wanted to let real estate professionals connect to and search over 125 databases simultaneously and in seconds! This goal was accomplished when AUTOPROP was launched in January 2016. Since, they’ve added incredible tools to the AUTOPROP platform:
- a cross-municipality GIS platform for land use and development activity;
- a landmapping tool capable of accessing data on hundreds of properties instantly; and
- a map to present, modify or track real estate data at ease;
- and many more…
Others have joined in their mission to create the ultimate platform for real estate research. AUTOPROP partners with industry leaders such as Urban Analytics and the REBGV to bring access to data in ways never done before.
Since they started selling in January 2016, over ninety developers in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley now enjoy the benefits of AUTOPROP. They have also had huge uptake in the commercial broker and residential agent markets. Today, eleven of the top sixteen brokerages are leveraging the AUTOPROP system.
Charlsy Dobell and AUTOPROP is excited to present some real world use cases to ULI BC guests. Anybody interested in acquisitions, development, and sales or marketing, as well as commercial brokers and residential agents will find AUTOPROP interesting and insightful.
