ULI BC: Metro Vancouver + 1 Million: Who will live here? How will we house them?
Andrew Ramlo, Executive Director of Urban Futures, will explore the drivers to demographic change in Metro Vancouver as we get set to accommodate another million people. How many more Boomers & Busters? How many more children? Seniors? People of working age? How many more immigrants? Albertans? Maritimers?
Building on this demographic base, Ramlo will provide an outlook for the region’s housing stock, including the number and types of dwellings required to accommodate the next million residents.
Known for his fast-moving, informative, and entertaining style, Ramlo and Urban Futures specialize in providing unbiased information on demographics, housing, and economic change.
