Andrew RamloExecutive Director of Urban Futures, will explore the drivers to demographic change in Metro Vancouver as we get set to accommodate another million people. How many more Boomers & Busters? How many more children? Seniors? People of working age? How many more immigrants? Albertans? Maritimers?

Building on this demographic base, Ramlo will provide an outlook for the region’s housing stock, including the number and types of dwellings required to accommodate the next million residents.

Please join us for this first presentation in ULI’s 2015-2016 series, “The Next Million”. Subsequent events will build on this outlook and bring speakers to promote discussion on topics ranging from transportation and transit options to accommodate the next million, to livability for families in higher density environments, to provisioning sufficient job space for a city of 3.5 million, options for housing affordability, and more.

Thank you to our event supporters!
