Friday, September 26, 2014
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET | 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. PT
The housing market is recovering and master-planned residential communities are again feasible in both greenfield and infill locations in North America, but many challenges and obstacles remain for developers who seek to undertake such projects. Planned communities are complex, financially difficult, encompass a range of elements, and are long-term undertakings. This webinar will discuss the challenges and opportunities that developers encounter when developing planned residential communities.
The webinar will feature presentations and discussions related to two very different residential communities that have been featured in the ULI Case Studies series over the past year: Willowsford, a 4,125-acre community on a greenfield site in Loudoun County, Virginia; and Arverne by the Sea, a 120-acre community on an infill redevelopment site on the Rockaway Peninsula in Queens, New York.
